Integrated Mixer & Extruder is a compact design equipment with production capacity of 150 kgs of pellets per hour on continuous basis. In consist of 75 ltrs hopper on the top with rotating arm to push material into the feed hopper of extrusion chamber consisting 02 rollers with a 0.3mm gap in between them one is perforated (Die Roller) and second is knurling the material is pressed in between them and through the perforation extrudes get discharged into bucket assembly.
Integrated Mixer & Extruder as Bucket assembly is on load cell for weighing the extrudes prior to dropping the extrudes into the spheronizer it is like a intermediate storage system where the extrudes get collected because spheronization is a batch process which takes 3-6 minutes to convert extrudes in to pellets.
In Integrated Mixer & Extruder from Bucket assembly material is dropped in to the chequered plate of spheronizer drum where it rotates at particular speed and due to the chequering in the plate it helps to cut the extrudes and due to the centrifugal force extrudes convert into pellets and gets discharge through pneumatic door opening.
In Integrated Die Roller Extruder and Spheronizer perforation of Roller & Chequered plate plays a vital role in determining the size of pellets for eg for making 1.00 mm pellets the perforated roller (Die Roller) perforation dia should be 1.00mm & chequered plate should be 3.20mm, the general configuration for making pellets is (0.4 mm perforation, 1.00 mm chequered plate is 0.4mm of pellets), (0.5 mm perforation, 1.00mm chequered plate is 0.5mm pellets), (0.6 mm perforation, 2.00mm chequered plate is 0.6 mm pellets), (0.8mm perforation, 2.00mm chequered plate is 0.6mm pellets), (1.0mm perforation, 3.20mm chequered plate is 1.0 mm pellets),(1.20 mm perforation, 3.20mm chequered plate is 1.20mm pellets), (1.50mm perforation, 6.50mm chequered plate is 1.50mm pellets) In Integrated Die Roller Extruder and Spheronizer the controls are inbuilt for ease in maintenance and all the commands are through IPC.
